What is our booking process and how much does Speech Therapy cost?
Step 1: Choose Your Assessment
Your child’s assessment is based on the complexity of their difficulties and the time required to gather information. This guides the diagnosis and helps us plan the therapy goals.
Your intake call with a Speech Pathologist will help decide the time required for the assessment process.
Pathway 1:
You child’s assessment includes:
Observation of skills based on their age and expected skills
Use of standardised testing (if appropriate).
Analysis of testing results.
A formal, comprehensive and diagnostic report (between 4-12 pages depending on complexity).
Recommendations and treatment plan.
Communication of results via the report to all others involved in your child’s education or care journey.
Pathway 2:
You child’s assessment includes:
Observation of skills based on their age and expected skills
Use of standardised testing (if appropriate).

A short summary outlining results (between 2-4 pages).
Recommendations and treatment plan.
Communication of results via the summary to all others involved in your child’s education or care journey.

Oro-motor assessment (strength and coordination of lips and tongue)
Skills for answering questions using appropriate grammar and vocabulary.
Stuttering assessment (how fluent your child’s speech is)
Brief summary of scores, summary of results and recommendations.

Assessment of your toddlers or preschoolers:
Language skills (understanding and use of language - grammar, following instructions, ability to use spoken sentences)
Play skills and social engagement ability
Preverbal skills
Speech and articulation assessment (how clear your child’s speech is)
Oromotor assessment (strength and coordination of lips and tongue)
Brief summary of scores, summary of results and recommendations.
